YOU HAVE A PURPOSE

“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”  (John 1:18)

John 1:18 reveals Jesus Christ dwelling in the close and intimate bosom of the Father.  This is the relationship Jesus has with the Father, and as a result we witness Jesus passionately fulfilling His purpose in life. “…He hath declared Him.”

First of all a child is to know his Father.  He is to know him intimately. He is to be so close to his Father, that he finds safety, comfort, strength and wisdom from His Father.

In Ephesians 1:17 we see the desire of our Father, which is for us to have a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the close, personal, and intimate knowledge of Him. Only through this intimate relationship with our Father will we know and fulfill our purpose in life.

Through His relationship with His Father, Jesus was able to find and fulfill His purpose!

You have a purpose as well.  Your purpose in life is two fold.

First, you are to know God as your Father. Your destiny is to know Him personally and intimately. That is His desire as well. His desire is to be with you, and for you to know Him. He desires to be involved in your life. He longs for you to experience His intense love and passion for you, His dearly loved child.

Secondly as you begin to experience this type of relationship with Him you will want to declare Him, reveal Him, His love, His goodness, His strength, to the world.

According to 2 Corinthians 5:19; we are to communicate to the world how God is not holding their sin against them, and how they can come back home to the very intimate presence of the Father through faith in Jesus Christ.

Is there a reason for you being born?  Yes there is.

It’s to know God as your Father, your Dad, and make Him known.

YOU ARE BLESSED
JESUS IS YOUR ANSWER
He said in John 8:12 "I AM the light of the world; he that follows Me will not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
Look to Jesus!  As you follow Him, your impossible situations will become possible.

1.God is the only reason we have anything.(Deut. 8:18)

2. He will never ask you to give away something, without Him giving you something better in return. (Mark 10:29-30)

3. Giving is the key that opens the door to God's abundant supply. ( Luke 6:38)

God can never see you by any other standard, but through the perfect blood of Jesus.

When He looks at you, He sees His own son, His own daughter.

Be Imitators of God
"Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father];"
(Eph 5:1 AMP)

As children of God created in His image and likeness, we are encouraged to imitate Him, to copy Him, to be like Him.

How do we do that? By looking to Jesus, putting our faith in Him, and making Him Lord in our life.

"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus."
(Galatians 3:26)

A truly successful person is one who knows the Lord, has learned to believe Him, and shares Him with others.

Through Jesus Christ,  God has raised us up from a position of bondage and slavery, to a place of freedom and victory.

The Gospel Jesus Christ, is not one of works, but of grace. Our identities are so bound to our earning the right to have and enjoy life, that we miss out on the promise of eternal life that God has promised for us right here, right now.

John 3:16 tells us; "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever should BELIEVE on him, should not perish, but HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE (Zoe life, or the life of God)."

When do we have this life? Right now. How do we receive this life? Not by earning it, or working for it, but by simply believing on JESUS!

EXPERIENCE HIS GRACE

Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

John 4:24 "God is a Spirit..."

God is a Spirit, He created you and I in His image, and in His likeness. That means we are a spirit just like Him. We are His children. We came from Him. Whatever He is that’s who we are. We are His family. He values us, and loves us unconditionally.

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, .. (Hebrews 1:3)

His power covers the entire realm of human existence. God is more than enough!

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
(Romans 8:6)

Carnal, negative thoughts produce depression, strife and death.

Spiritual, Godly, positive thoughts produce life, prosperity and peace.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John 1:2 )

Gods will is for you to prosper as your soul prospers.  To prosper in your soul, you must be able to control your thoughts, your will and your emotions, with the Word of God.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (1 John 3:2)

The moment you can see Jesus in your heart, thats when you will be like Him.  Thats when you will be free!

By having the wrong perception in our heart, we are actually establishing and reinforcing the condition the devil has us in. We become bound, limited, and restrained.

Instead of just saying "pray for me" on a whim, (hoping that someones prayer may work),  we should first seek Gods' Word, His will in the matter.  Once we have His Word then we can intelligently cooperate with Him in receiving our answer.
