HIS LIFE NOW

“This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But ye have not so learned Christ;” (Ephesians 4:17-20)

God’s Word here is exhorting us to live our life differently from the world.

First of all the word “walk” here is simply referring to your way of living or your behavior. Your behavior is a direct result of the choices you make. It is the result of what you believe.

Is God interested in how you live and what you experience in this life? You bet He is. His desire is for you to live your life to the fullest, to experience the full manifestation of His blessing in your family, finances, body, relationships, etc.

The first thing you need to realize, is what you believe and do has an impact on how much you experience His blessing at work in your life.

We will see that it is not God’s desire to withhold His blessing from you. We will find out that it is what we believe and how we live which determines the magnitude of His blessing.

Look at this word “Gentiles” It simply means unbeliever. A Gentile is someone who is outside the covenant of God, a non believer, it is someone who has not believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and received his place as a child of God in the Kingdom of God.

Now He goes on to reveal that the unbeliever lives their life in the vanity of their mind.

The word “Vanity” here means: worthless thoughts, pride. It also means emptiness, or vain. “Vanity” here can also mean; “futility or emptiness to be empty – to be void of something."

You see the unbeliever is living their lives based on a mind that is void of something; as a result it is now filled with worthless, futile thoughts. These worthless thoughts are literally empty or void of Gods power, life, and ability. The nonbeliever is in all reality, making life decisions based an empty, ignorant mind.

I don’t’ care how much education you have received, or how many degrees you have earned, if you have not filled your mind with what it needs, you are empty, and this is a very dangerous position to be in.

Look at what happens as a result of having a vain mind. “ …Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart..”

First your understanding becomes darkened. This means you will not clearly and successfully understand things. Secondly since your ability to properly assess a situation is hindered, you are now unable to perceive things correctly, thus your heart is blinded.

Being in this condition literally separates you from the life of God.

This is not Gods will. You were not created to live without the life of God, a life that is full of His supernatural, overcoming, miracle working power, His very nature, being integrated into your very being, causing you to walk in dominion over the authority of darkness and the elements of this world.

Jesus said in John 10:10; “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

God saw our condition; He knew that man was alienated from His life. This is why He sent Jesus. Jesus came to connect us back to the life of God. He wants to begin filling our hearts and minds, so that we can begin experiencing His life now.

Confess Your Blessing

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:"
(Ephesians 1:3)

Here is a confession as you form your faith on this promise of God.

God the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ has already blessed me with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.  I am blessed.

FAITH IS SPEAKING AND RECEIVING

Jesus said;
"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.    Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."  (Mark 11:23-24)

OUT OF YOUR HEART FLOWS LIFE

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Heart: Kardia; "Stands for man’s entire mental and moral activity The heart is used figuratively for the hidden springs of personal life. It is the thoughts or feelings, mind, the middle. Fleshly tables of the heart (the eyes of our understanding). It is the mind, will, emotions, thoughts, feelings, reasons, and intentions.'
We believe with our heart the middle part, or core of our soul. It is the hiding place of our spirit.
Proverbs 4:23 (Amplified) “ Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.”

Four Basic Heart Beliefs

Isaiah 53:5 “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

Transgressions produce wounds in our heart. Iniquities produce bruising.
There are four basic Heart belief structures that must be formed and maintained.

1. A belief of being loved unconditionally.
2. A belief of being safe and secure
3. A belief of being valuable, or validated.
4. A belief of purpose, or a sense of destiny.

When one of the four basic heart beliefs are hindered or changed in any way, a wound, a crushing, a brokenness takes place in the heart.

Wounds take place through transgressions; A transgression happens in our heart when an interpretative thought is received that differs from those four basic beliefs.

If Gods Word has not formed your thoughts, you will not be protected from a transgression, thus a wound is created in your heart.

Gods Word is the only answer to heal your heart.

You Are Unique

"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart,..." Ecclesiastes 3:11 KJV

You are beautiful.  You are important.  You are unique. You are here at this time with a Divine purpose which only God alone can satisfy.

OBEDIENCE RELEASES POWER PART 2

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

Hebrews 4:12 tells us the Word of God is living, active, full of life, and power.  We need to understand that whatever God has said to us is full of CREATIVE, LIFE GIVING POWER. And according to Isaiah 55:10-11, His Word will not return to Him void, but will accomplish, or prosper in what it was sent to do.

1 Peter 1:23 says  that we were ."..born again not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible seed by the Word of God which lives and abides forever!"

The word corruptible means perishable.  The Word of God is not perishable, His Word cannot die, it is eternal, which means it will always produce!

Do you know that in a tiny seed all the power to produce that seed is already contained in it. And when planted in good ground, will produce what it was designed to produce.  Even though the seed has life and power in it, it will not do anything without the good ground to release the power contained in that seed.

The same is true with the Word of God that has been spoken to you.  His Word already has in it the power to produce that result in your life.  But it will lay dormant, if you do not plant that Word in your heart by believing it and acting on it.

Romans 6:17-18 tells us that "...but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered youBeing then made free from sin,....".  You see it is not enough to just hear the Word. It is not enough to even believe that Word.  We must obey it from our heart to release the power of God that is in that Word.

Look at James 2 :17  "So faith if it does not have works, (actions of obedience to back it up) by itself is destitute of power (inactive, dead).

In John 12:42 we read where the chief rulers believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him publicly.  They had the Word in their heart.  They had the power residing in them, ready to release the life and power of God in their life, yet because they did not act on that Word, it did not benefit them.

Paul said in Romans 1:17 that the Gospel of Jesus Christ contains the POWER of God to save you. Jesus said in Matthew 7:24  "So everyone who hears these words of min, and acts upon them (obeying them)  will be like a sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon a rock." (Amp)

Jesus knows that there will be no power in your life without believing and acting on His Word. If you want to see the power of God at work in your life you are going to have to become a doer of His Word.

When a man obeys God, and His Word, he gives the only possible evidence that in his heart he believes His Word.

RELEASE THE POWER OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE TODAY, BY BEING AN OBEDIENT DOER OF HIS WORD.

EXPERIENCE YOUR MOUNTAINS CRUMBLE, YOUR STORMS SUBSIDE, HEALING MANIFEST, YOUR NEEDS BEING MET, AND FREEDOM REIGN IN YOUR LIFE.

OBEDIENCE RELEASES POWER PART 1

"And they were astonished at His doctrine, for
His Word was with power."
 (Luke 4:32)

Gods Word is full of power.  His Word has the ability to save you spiritually, heal you physically, and make you free from anything that would attempt to hold you bound.

But even though His Word has this awesome capacity, it can lie dormant in your life producing nothing.   His Word must be received and released in our lives if we are ever going to experience its life altering power.

Look at Matthew 14:28-29." And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. "

Up until this account no man has ever been recorded to walk on water.  Yet here is Jesus walking on  water.

When the disciples saw Him, they thought He was a ghost.  After Jesus reassured them, Peter asked Him to tell him to come out onto the water.

Peter had never walked on water before, But Peter had a history with Jesus.  He had been in situations before this moment in time, where Jesus had given him a command, and when he obeyed that Word he experienced the power of God in action.  So he reasoned; "If this is Jesus, and He gave me the command to come, and I acted on it, it would produce the miracle of me walking on water."

So Jesus,  Who is the Word of God made flesh, spoke the word "Come".  At this point the power of God was made available for Peter to walk on water.   You see without that Word spoken from Jesus, Peter would have no power or ability to walk on water.

Peter still had a choice.  Does he obey the command "Come"?  Does he act on that word spoken by Jesus or not?  This was not a calm night.  In fact this whole ordeal was occurring during a terrible storm. He and the disciples were fighting just to keep their boat afloat.

Peter would have to risk his life to step out of that boat.  The wind and waves where thrashing about violently, making this very unreasonable for him to attempt this.  But he was willing to prove this out.

Peter believed that Word spoken, and obeyed it.  Through a simple act of stepping out of the boat onto the water, he released the miracle working power of that Word and did the impossible, he too walked on water.

You and I have Words spoken to us by God that have been written down for us. These Words have the same ability, might, and power to perform that Word in our lives.

As we have just seen in Peters life, three things need to take place if we to are going to experience the miracle working power of God.

First we must hear a Word from God.   Second we must believe what we have heard, and finally we must obey or act on that Word.

Have you heard Him speak to you?  Have you believed that Word?  Have you obeyed that Word?

HEARING, BELIEVING, OBEYING  equals the power of God released in your life.

FAITH TO BE HEALED

"And there they preached the gospel. And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked." (Acts 14:7-10)

Preaching the Gospel provides the opportunity for faith to be formed in your heart for healing.

You are invited to our next

"Healing The Brokenhearted Service."

Come and experience the Father's love and begin forming faith that receives everything God has given you.

In reality there's not a person on this earth that hasn't suffered from a broken heart.

Most in the body of Christ have no idea what it means to have a broken heart. And yet, our hearts are the very place where we need the healing presence of the Father and His Word.

Many of us have been wounded in our heart for so long that we have formed strongholds (walls of thoughts that exalt themselves against the knowledge of Christ). These walls of false beliefs keep us in prison, separating us from experiencing the life and love that God has provided for his children.

Only God through Jesus Christ can destroy these strongholds, heal our wounds, and open those prison doors.

Come and experience the powerful, loving ministry of Pastor Rory Synoground. Pastor Rory ministers the Word of God with a healing anointing that will impact your life for ever.

Make sure you make plans now to begin attending these Saturday Night meetings.
